To provide the best opportunity for success in learning, continuing education, and pattern creation, we teach our crochet classes and private crochet lessons right-handed. This involves the hook being held in the right hand and the yarn being held and tensioned with the left hand. Our left-handed teachers crochet and teach right-handed, and we have found almost universal success with this method. Those who are interested in learning left-handed crochet are encouraged to visit Bella Coco’s (Sarah-Jayne) suite of left-handed videos on YouTube.
