I like this yarn quite a bit. I am using it in a crochet project and it has been very nice to work with so far. It feels and works up very similar to 100% cotton yarn but it is softer due to being 40% acrylic (and 60% cotton). The colors are bright and very accurate to the way they look on the web sight. I have found, however, that the yarn does tend to unravel/fray if you thread a needle with it around 3 or more times. It isn't something that I'm upset about, but I thought it was worth noting. Also, I have not blocked this yarn yet, so I can't say how well it behaves in that aspect. Overall, Scheepjes Softfun is a great yarn that I would definitely use again!

This is, hands down, the very best yarn to make multiethnic amigurumi dolls. The range of browns and tans are extraordinary, and the soft density crochets beautifully without separating or gaps between stitches. I’m so glad I decided to order from a smaller shop instead of the massive online store. From the cute little paper tabs that start the yarn perfectly to the easy unraveling as I work, this yarn is simply an amigurumi-maker’s treasure. Love, love, love everything about this yarn!!

I love crocheting with this yarn. The yarn has a soft feel and the colors have a beautiful soft tone. Currently I have used about 50 balls of this yarn and only had one ball with a knot. The balls also have a self starting tab for easy use with the center pull.
