Diagonal slipped stitches twirl around these socks for a wonderfully subtle play in colour that suits every personality. Use five of your favorite shades, either bold or muted, for a fun, versatile, and utterly wearable project.
- yarn: 5 mini skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Tranquility (1 set of Party of Five, ~525 yd / 480 m per bag; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)
- needles: Size 1 US / 2.25 mm circular needles, 32″ / 80 cm for magic loop or DPNS
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
- gauge: 32 sts and 44 rnds = 4″ / 10 cm in st stitch, after blocking
For accurate sizing, always take time to check finished gauge. - finished measurements: Foot circumference: 3 ¾ (5 ¼, 6, 7 ½, 8 ¼, 9)” /9.5 (13, 15, 19, 21, 23) cm
Foot Length is adjustable.
Choose the size that is approx 5% smaller than your actual foot circumference. The slipped stitch patterning is not as elastic as other stitch patterns.
