Cresting waves of lace and purls seem to dance across the fabric of colours, as distinct and unified as the ocean and its waves. This crescent-shaped shawl, worked from corner to bind-off edge, makes for an entertaining project that opens up a world of variety.
- yarn: 5 mini skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Seashore (1 set of Party of Five, ~525 yd / 480 m per bag; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)
- needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. - gauge: 23 sts and 31 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in Ocean Waves Stitch, after blocking
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size. - finished measurements: 51 ½” / 131 cm x 20″ / 51 cm
