Knitting continental style – with the yarn in your left hand rather than right – is the key to speed, and also helps you enormously with colorwork. It’s also useful for knitters who want to manage and minimize hand-strain. We’ll also demonstrate a magical technique for working ribbing and seed stitch without moving the yarn.
students should have on hand: 4-5mm/US #6-8 needles (straight or short circular) and two colors of scrap medium-weight yarn.
