This small group (max of 3) beginning knitting class is intended to help crocheters use skills they already have to become knitters too. Students will be instructed in the Continental Knitting technique of carrying the working yarn in the left hand and "picking" stitches throughout to make a pair of fingerless mitts.
The first session introduces the crochet cast on and the knit stitch. The second session introduces the knitted cast on and the purl stitch. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour.
Yarn, pattern and knitting needles are included in the class fee.
