The focus this year is to highlight the patterns of one designer...Casapinka.

She uses combinations of simple stitches to create beautiful textured fabrics. Her patterns are fun nd well written.

I’m a design crazed woman who loves all projects that involve painting things pink or knitting things in happy colors. In my other life I played an ER doctor but I stopped doing it due to inability to use a knitted stethoscope. I adore knitting and designing, particularly using stitches that are simple and show off variegated yarn. I’m also a huge aviation nerd and can be found in the wee hours knitting and listening to air traffic control, especially Kennedy Steve because he’s the best! Sharon from Security is my sole employee and she has a laziness problem and cannot seem to get along with Jean from IT. What, your pets don’t work for a living?! (I AM NOT A PET!- SFS)

We usually meet in the Classroom at 20085 Chagrin Boulevard at 10 am in person OR at 6 pm on ZOOM on the dates listed. Zoom Classes are recorded and can be viewed by clicking on the "video" links below. There is no sign up or registration required. The Crown Wools by Casapinka

The Crown Wools is a textured scarf/shawl/wrap knit on the bias in 2 sizes 72 X 16” or 84” X 16”

There are a range of different stitches to keep things interesting, interspersed with more easy stitches.

The pattern was written using 12 different fingering weight mini skeins of 133 yards each or approximately 1500 yards. Click here to find more informtion regarding choosing colors. A single color also looks beautiful.
