Sock Club 2026
We meet in the Classroom at 20085 Chagrin Boulevard at 10 am in person OR at 6 pm on ZOOM on the dates listed. Zoom Classes are recorded and can be viewed by clicking on the "video" links below.
There is no sign up or registration required. Participants can get a 10% discount on materials purchased for Sock Club including the patterns. Call 216-230-9224 if there are questions.
Materials and sizes are listed in the patterns.
Prior year Sock Club videos can be found on the Recorded Classes page.
In each, Beth will be using a traditional sock weight yarn with the Magic Loop method (instruction for double pointed needles also provided). There is no homework before the first classes except to have your yarn, preferred needles and a printed copy of your pattern. While we do not do our Sock Club socks 2-at-a-time on the same needles, we do recommend dividing the yarn and having a second set of needles so that you can work each pair simultaneously.

Our first pair of socks for 2026 is any one of the Rye collection from Tincanknits:
All of these are available as free downloads on Ravelry and are sized newborn through Adult Large.
January 5: Getting Started with Socks with sizing and swatching and casting on. Before next class: Work through the Heel Flap of both socks. (video)
February 2: Turning the Heel and working the Gusset. Before next class: Work to the end of the foot of both socks.
March 2: Toe shaping and grafting.

Our second sock is the Cadeau Sock from Celine Feyten which can be made with any yarn at any gauge to fit any foot! Similar shape to the Rye sock but adding a stitch pattern and a more reinforced heel flap.
March 30: Sizing and swatching and casting on. Before next class: Work through the Heel Flap on both socks.
June 29: Turning the Heel and working the Gusset. Before next class: Work to the end of the foot on both socks.
August 31: Toe shaping and grafting.

For the third and final sock of 2026, we will be doing the Regatta Sock by Kate Atherley. This free, toe-up sock will help us master new techniques including Judy's Magic Cast-on, and Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-off.
October 5: Sizing and swatching and casting on. Before next class: Work both socks through the Foot and Gusset.
November 2: Heel Turn and transition to leg. Before next class: Work through both socks to desired height of ribbing.
December 7: Stretchy bind-off options.
